New Publication: The role of nature cue and nature relatedness in academic motivation and engagement.

🌿 New Publication Alert! 🌿

I am thrilled to announce the publication of my latest research article titled "The Role of Nature Cues and Nature Relatedness in Academic Motivation and Engagement" in Collabra: Psychology.

📊 Key Findings:

  • Nature cues does not influence students' motivation or engagement.

  • Nature relatedness, which is characterized by how connected one feels with nature, positively influenced both academic motivation and engagement. More specifically, students who felt more connected to nature reported more engagement and motivation towards their classes.

  • Educational institutions should consider incorporating nature-based elements to improve student well-being and motivation, but it might need to be more than just incorporation visual cues.

Thank you to my co-authors, reviewers, and everyone who supported this work. I hope this research contributes to the growing body of knowledge on the benefits of nature in educational settings and inspires future studies and implementations.
