Dr. Jessica E. Desrochers

Jessica E. Desrochers is a Ph.D. in Psychology with a concentration in Quantitative Methodology from Carleton University. Her thesis "Even in the Middle of the City, I Notice the Nature Around Me": Is Nature Relatedness Associated with Noticing More Nature in Urban Environments? was accepted in August 2023. Her primary research interests focus on the intersection of connection to nature, environmental behaviours, and well-being. She has published widely in international peer-reviewed journals and has held federal and university-level scholarships, such as the SSHRC Doctoral Fellowship. Jessica instructed three courses at Carleton University for the 2023-2024 school terms. Currently, she is looking for a position in research related careers.
